Defeat or not, Desert Hills got some senior leadership from Ben Chase and Mason Rasmussen. Chase went 6 for 11 en route to 21 points, while Rasmussen posted 16 points. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for Chase. Jack Openshaw was another key player, putting up seven points.
Pine View was led to victory by Caleb Schmitt and Cooper Ranson. Schmitt had 16 points in addition to six assists and five boards, while Ranson went 6 of 10 on his way to 18 points. Ranson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
