Pinckneyville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 71-51 margin over the Nashville Hornets. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Nashville still got an impressive performance from Maddox Ritzel, who almost dropped a double-double with 27 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points Ritzel has posted since back in December of 2024. Ethan Pinski was another key player, putting up six points.

Pinckneyville's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 25-3. As for Nashville, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 19-9 record.

Pinckneyville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-42 win against Anna-Jonesboro on the 15th. As for Nashville, they have also already played their next game, a 71-48 victory against DuQuoin on the 18th.
