Portsmouth Christian had a rough outing against Fuqua two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Everything went Portsmouth Christian's way against Broadwater Academy last Friday as they made off with a 33-0 win. That looming 33-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Portsmouth Christian yet.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Massanutten Military Academy, Quantico came back down to earth. Quantico were completely outmatched, falling 6-57 to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot. The state rankings had actually given Quantico a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Portsmouth Christian didn't have too much trouble with Quantico the last time the two teams met as they won 38-20. The rematch might be a little tougher for Portsmouth Christian since the team won't have home-field advantage.
