The South Sevier Rams will challenge the Beaver Beavers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. South Sevier will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
South Sevier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Grand County as they made off with a 13-0 win. Considering the Rams have won 18 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bigs Northrup made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kanyon Okerlund was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Brace Brindley was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one double.
South Sevier kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Beaver's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of Kanab by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Beavers have suffered since March 7th.
Gabe Robinson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
South Sevier's record is now 23-6. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-4.
Saturday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. South Sevier hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .352. However, it's not like Beaver struggles in that department as they've averaged .342. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went South Sevier's way against Beaver in their previous matchup back in April, as South Sevier made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
