The Robinson Bulldogs's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 71-63 win over West Rowan. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Robinson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brian Rowe, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Da'montre Harlee, who scored 16 points.
Robinson's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for West Rowan, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Robinson's road trip will continue as they head out to face Combine Academy Global at 2:00 p.m. on January 20th. Combine Academy Global comes in still looking for their first win of the season. West Rowan won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Lake Norman Charter focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Wednesday.
