Basketball Recap: West Seneca East's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cardinal O'Hara, West Seneca East was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the West Seneca West Warhawks by a score of 58-46. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Leading West Seneca East to victory were Craig Leslie and Maxwell Czora. Leslie went 9 for 21 en route to 23 points in addition to six boards and four steals, while Czora went 5 of 11 on his way to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Czora is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Murdoch, who posted six points along with ten rebounds and three steals.

West Seneca East's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for West Seneca West, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

West Seneca East has already played their next match (against Maryvale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Seneca West will venture away from home to square off against Sweet Home at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
