The Sports Leadership & Management Spartans can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent match on Monday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 82-42 win over Seffner Christian. With Sports Leadership & Management ahead 55-23 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Sports Leadership & Management's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Daniel MacGregor, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. MacGregor has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Matthew Selmon, who scored 16 points along with five assists and two steals.
Sports Leadership & Management has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Seffner Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sports Leadership & Management will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Trinity Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Trinity Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 394th, while Sports Leadership & Management is ranked 55th). As for Seffner Christian, they will head out on the road to square off against Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jesuit will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
