The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wray, who took down 73rd ranked Wiggins, 14-7. Cade Reinick threw for 10 yards and ran for 119 yards in the win.
The Eagles extended the longest winning streak in 1A North Central this week by beating the Tigers, 14-7. The victory was the fifth in a row for Wray.
Luke Mondt put up the best numbers through the air as Resurrection Christian bested Calhan. He finished with five completions for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Mondt's favorite target this week was Cole Watson, who caught one pass for 24 yards.
Matt Sullivan made the biggest impact on defense this week as Levi Kramer's team beat Wiggins. The 6-foot-1 senior racked up 1.0 sack.
James Price provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Highland topped Cornerstone Christian Academy. He completed one pass for 42 yards and also ran for 167 yards. Price's favorite target this week was Chris Villalobos, who caught one pass for 53 yards.
Logan Tharp was the best wideout in the league this week as Holyoke defeated Yuma. Tharp racked up two receptions for 59 yards.
Brett Cumming was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 184 yards as the Dragons beat the Indians. Dylon Kotch also contributed to the rushing game with 107 yards on the ground.
The Cougars' Mondt and Jake Lohr have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading 1A North Central in both passing and receiving yards. Mondt has thrown for 1246 yards this season, while Lohr, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 27 catches for 421 yards. Mitcheal Risner's team's Thayer Sauter leads the league in rushing yards with 1098.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Huskies take on the Eagles. Highland is in sixth place, while Wray is in first place.
Holyoke led the league in scoring this week after putting up 46 points on Yuma. Cumming in the win.
