Among those leading the charge was Michael Gales, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Dwight Anderson was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 8 rebounds.
Durham School of the Arts' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jadin Haynes, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Haynes scored a full 27.1% of Durham School of the Arts' points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Dorsette, who scored 7 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
Voyager now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Durham School of the Arts, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Voyager will challenge Durham Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Durham School of the Arts is on the road again on Monday and play against Cedar Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on December 11th. Cedar Ridge comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
