Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Bourgade Catholic Golden Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. Neither they nor the Minotaur could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, Bourgade Catholic got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.
Bourgade Catholic's draw gives them a new season record of 6-5-4. Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute's record is now 8-4-4.
Bourgade Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Odyssey Institute, they will head out on the road to take on Thatcher at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thatcher is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
