It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Palmer Trinity Falcons had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Warriors as they made off with a 68-42 victory. Palmer Trinity's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Jade Leon, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Missy Nieves was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Palmer Trinity's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Westminster Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Palmer Trinity will take on Somerset Academy South Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Somerset Academy South Homestead focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Wednesday. Westminster Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
