Kennedy is 0-4 against Dunbar since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Kennedy Crusaders will look to defend their home court against the Dunbar Mightymen at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Kennedy came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 57-40 win over Muchin College Prep.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kennedy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Gallas, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Dahl, who scored 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dunbar can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They blew past Richards 75-44 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Dunbar has posted since December 19, 2023.
Kennedy pushed their record up to 9-11 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Dunbar, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
