The Ignacio Bobcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 41-29 to Pagosa Springs. The matchup was a 11-11 toss-up at halftime, but Ignacio was outscored by Pagosa Springs in the second.
Despite the loss, Ignacio still got an impressive performance from Soly Cosio, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Pagosa Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylie Ketchum, who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ketchum has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Currier, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Ignacio's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pagosa Springs, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-3.
Ignacio and Bayfield will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Bayfield is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
