The Blue Hill Bobcats lost against the St. Cecilia Bluehawks back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Blue Hill was beaten by St. Cecilia 53-10. Blue Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-5.
Ellie Mangers was Blue Hill's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Josie Kirschner held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Blue Hill and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for St. Cecilia, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Hill will stay at home for another game and welcome Superior. Hopefully Superior focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. St. Cecilia will be home for the holidays to greet Sutton on Friday.
