It was a good run, but St. Peter unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 68-67 to the Mankato West Scarlets. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (60), the Saints still had to take the loss.

St. Peter's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-4. As for Mankato West, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Peter will be home for the holidays to greet Jackson County Central at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in St. Peter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Mankato West, they will host Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
