Even though the Lake Dallas Falcons scored an imposing 61 points on Friday, the Colleyville Heritage Panthers still came out on top. Colleyville Heritage secured a 65-61 W over Lake Dallas. Winning may never get old, but Colleyville Heritage sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was another big night for Tristan Strength, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Colleyville Heritage's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Camden Coburn, who scored 11 points.
Colleyville Heritage's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Lake Dallas, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colleyville Heritage will square off against Birdville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Dallas, they will head out on the road to face off against Denton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 400th, while Lake Dallas is ranked 193rd).
