Despite the loss, Shipley still got an impressive performance from Braelin Hardy, who scored 17 points along with three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hardy has scored all season. Matt Lange was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists and two steals.
Shipley's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for George School, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.
Shipley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Westtown at 5:00 p.m. on January 24th. Westtown has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 262 points over their last four contests. As for George School, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Academy of the New Church at 5:30 p.m.
