It was a good run, but  Frontenac unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lamar Tigers. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won  2-0.
 Lucy Anderson paced Frontenac's offense, picking up six kills. Anderson got some help from  Ellie Bloom and her 13 assists. Finally,  Hadley Goodwin kept Frontenac's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Frontenac's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-1. As for Lamar,  the  win  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Frontenac will venture away from home to  square off against St. Mary's-Colgan  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Lamar, they will challenge Diamond at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
