Hurricane is a perfect 10-0 against Pine View since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Hurricane came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Snow Canyon, falling 16-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Warriors since March 27, 2023.

Ruby Seely made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She has been hot, having also posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Nala Alton, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Meanwhile, Pine View lost 15-9 to Beaver on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kylie Carpenter and Genevieve Evans did some serious damage despite the final result: Carpenter went 4-for-5 with five RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Evans got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Sarah Seegmiller was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Hurricane's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pine View, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hurricane hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Pine View struggles in that department as they've averaged .314. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hurricane got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Pine View by a conclusive 14-3 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
