Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Verrado). They were the clear victors by  a  26-2 margin over the North Canyon Rattlers on Tuesday. The  victory was familiar territory for the Vipers, who have now won 11  contests in a row.
 Cameron Marchese was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Nevaeh Romero, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2.
 Verrado  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least three  strikeouts batters  in five consecutive  games.
Verrado's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-1. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for North Canyon,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
Verrado will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rattlers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
