Newman started the matchup off right with 42 first-half points. Oneida Nation came up with 6 to make it 42-6 heading into the break. Newman were outperformed in the second half 13-28 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The win bumped their record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Oneida Nation's record to 1-4.
Next week Newman take on Gibraltar at 1:00 PM. As for Oneida Nation, they will face off against Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy.
