The Follett Panthers posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Miami out 40-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Follett has posted against Miami since January 17, 2022.
Follett had a senior duo take command as Kimber Wheatley scored 16 points along with five steals and Reyna Rosales scored 16 points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Gabriella Barton, who scored three points along with four steals.
Follett's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-9. As for Miami, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Follett will head out on the road to take on Kelton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Miami, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Elliott at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
