Grace Classical Christian Academy took a 67-50 bruising from Master's Hand Christian. Grace Classical Christian Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grace Classical Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zachary Hollowell, who scored 17 points along with two steals. Hollowell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Anthony Caracci, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Master's Hand Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braedon Canuteson led the charge by scoring eight points along with 13 rebounds and seven steals. Canuteson has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Clark, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Grace Classical Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Master's Hand Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grace Classical Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Mt. Pleasant Christian at 7:00 p.m. on February 12th. Grace Classical Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 425th, while Mt. Pleasant Christian is ranked 155th). As for Master's Hand Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian Homeschool at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Trinity Christian Homeschool is on a three-game streak of home losses, Master's Hand Christian a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
