Anthony Demartinis was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, even though North Olmsted scored an imposing 49 points on Friday, Westlake still came out on top. Westlake snuck past North Olmsted with a 54-49 victory.
Matthew Porcelli continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 204 yards and four touchdowns. Porcelli is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played. Sam Brucchieri also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Elyria Catholic's victory on Friday bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Westlake, their win on Friday bumped their record up to 6-3.
Everything came up roses for Elyria Catholic against Westlake in their previous matchup back in September of 2022 as the team secured a 42-13 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elyria Catholic since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
