Tatum are taking a road trip to square off against New Diana at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Tatum comes in on five and New Diana on 12.
Tatum is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Sabine a 23-0 shutout on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Eagles with their most commanding win of the season.

Cayden Tatum was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those five hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Tucker Anthony, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Whiteus, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Tatum always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .638. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sabine only posted an OBP of .176.
New Diana came out on top against Mount Vernon on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run seventh inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.
New Diana got a big performance out of Levi Green, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Keaton Bogue, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
New Diana's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-6-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Tatum, their record is now 19-6.
Both Tatum and New Diana just can't seem to miss. Tatum has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like New Diana struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tatum skirted past New Diana 6-5 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tatum since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
