The Covenant Eagles will be playing at home against the Rose Hill Christian Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Covenant knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Rose Hill Christian likes a good challenge.
Covenant pushed their score all the way to 55 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. The game between Covenant and Grace Christian wasn't particularly close, with Covenant falling 70-55.
Meanwhile, Rose Hill Christian came up short against Bloomingdale on Thursday and fell 50-42. While losing is never fun, Rose Hill Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 275th in Kentucky, while Bloomingdale is ranked 84th in West Virginia).
Covenant's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Rose Hill Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
Everything went Covenant's way against Rose Hill Christian in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as Covenant made off with a 72-52 win. Does Covenant have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rose Hill Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
