Campbell-Savona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 30-29 to the Friendship Golden Eagles. One positive for the Panthers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Campbell-Savona's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Friendship, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

While Campbell-Savona had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
