It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 58-51 victory over Eastern Lebanon County. Winning may never get old, but Lampeter-Strasburg sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Lampeter-Strasburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Glick led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Chase Smucker, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lampeter-Strasburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Eastern Lebanon County, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 6-8.
