Avenal is 9-1 against Tranquillity since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will challenge the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Tranquillity took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Avenal, who comes in off a win.
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Avenal and Mendota had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Buccaneers blew past the Aztecs 3-0 on Thursday. The game was the first time the Buccaneers have beaten the Aztecs on their court since September 21, 2021.
Avenal was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-20, 25-21.
