Even though the South Rowan Raiders scored an imposing 71 points on Tuesday, the Concord Spiders still came out on top. Concord put the hurt on South Rowan with a sharp 93-71 win. With Concord ahead 55-30 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Concord's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Howard, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. Jadah Freeman was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals and two blocks.
Concord's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for South Rowan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-20.

As for South Rowan, they will head out on the road to square off against Lake Norman Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Norman Charter has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
