Dixie County is 7-1 against Hamilton County since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Dixie County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.
Dixie County will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Fort White on Tuesday. The Bears put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 15-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won six in a row.

Dixie County got a massive performance out of Gray Wampler, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave Wampler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joel Lord, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Dixie County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort White only posted an OBP of .238.
While Hamilton County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Fort White on Monday.
The team relied heavily on Braxton Stormant, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Hamilton County's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Dixie County, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Dixie County has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hamilton County struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
