Considering Covenant Christian has won five matches by more than 21 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Covenant Christian to victory were Keeley Chaddick and Alani Owens. Chaddick scored 28 points along with three steals, while Owens scored 20 points along with nine assists and eight steals. The contest was Owens' 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lucy Hahn, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Covenant Christian pushed their record up to 8-8 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Pantego Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
