On Saturday, The Dubois Rams faced the Burlington Huskies in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Dubois ended up on the wrong side of a rough 67-46 walloping at the hands of Burlington. Dubois' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
When it comes to explaining why Dubois lost, one person who can't be blamed is Wyatt Trembly. Despite the final result, he rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also threw for 18 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Trembly is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jonah Oard, who rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Dubois' defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Burlington, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 7-1.
Dubois does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Burlington is also done with their season.
