West Allegheny had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Chartiers Valley on Friday as they made off with a 41-7 win. That result is just more of the same for West Allegheny, who also won the last time these teams played.
The win got West Allegheny back to even at 0-0. The loss dropped Chartiers Valley's record to 1-0.
West Allegheny will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Bethel Park at 7:00 PM. Chartiers Valley are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Armstrong next week at 7:00 PM.
