Hononegah is a perfect 10-0 against Guilford since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Indians will face off against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Hononegah will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Hononegah's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Jefferson with a sharp 9-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Peyton Klikno and Addison Hulburt did most of the damage at the plate: Klikno went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs, while Hulburt went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Those two stolen bases gave Hulburt a new career-high. Stella Leopold also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Hononegah always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Guilford fell victim to Harlem and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Huskies, falling 16-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hononegah pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Hononegah took their victory against Guilford in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
