The Cannon Cougars will be playing at home against the Charlotte Christian Knights at 5:30 p.m. Cannon will be looking to keep their 20-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Last Tuesday, Cannon didn't have too much trouble with the Buccaneers on the road as they won 70-51.
Cannon's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kierra Morrow, who scored 17 points along with four blocks and three steals. Morrow has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Maya Mccorkle was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Charlotte Christian took a serious blow against the Chargers on Tuesday, falling 67-32. Charlotte Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cannon has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for Charlotte Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Cannon against the Knights when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 74-22 win. With Cannon ahead 47-13 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
