Lone Jack has been away from home for two games now, but  on Thursday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Guadalupe Centers Aztecs  at 6:00  p.m. Lone Jack is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5  goals per game  this season.
 On Tuesday, Lone Jack needed a bit of extra time to put away Summit Christian Academy. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  win over the Eagles. Even though the Mules got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Jake Edwards was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.
 Lone Jack hit Summit Christian Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Aiden Holmes, 
 Ethan Carpenter,  and 
 Josh VanScoy.
 Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Guadalupe Centers after they claimed the first  goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Kansas City East Christian Academy by a score of  2-1. While losing is never fun, the Aztecs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings  (they are ranked 83rd, while the Lions are ranked 18th).
 Lone Jack pushed their record up to 10-2 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. As for Guadalupe Centers, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Lone Jack came out on top in a nail-biter against Guadalupe Centers in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, sneaking past  2-1. Does  Lone Jack have another victory up their sleeve, or will Guadalupe Centers turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
