The Enterprise Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Clarkdale. Enterprise was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Clarkdale apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Clarkdale's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cade Culpepper led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ladonya Adams, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Enterprise has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Clarkdale, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7.
Enterprise will take on Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarkdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Newton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Newton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Clarkdale in Mississippi (Newton is ranked 56th, while Clarkdale is ranked 221st).
