The Albuquerque Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Hope Christian Huskies, and things went their way on Friday too. Albuquerque came out on top against Hope Christian by a score of 51-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Albuquerque.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Albuquerque to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amariah Valles, who scored 16 points along with five assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Valles has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaiyah Hawley, who scored eight points.
Albuquerque is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Hope Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
Albuquerque will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Santa Fe at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th. Hope Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Highland at 1:00 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Highland focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Friday.
