Division VI recap Oct. 30, 2012
Mascoma extended the longest winning streak in Division VI this week by beating Winnisquam, 24-6. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Royals.
Farmington/Nute led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on Raymond.
Newfound Regional's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jared Dearborn has thrown for 1268 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Devin Fields has 35 catches for 407 yards. Tyler Maviki leads the league in rushing with 1304 yards.
A big matchup in Division VI this week will be when Franklin takes on Campbell. At the moment, the Tornadoes are in second, while Campbell is in third.
Paul Hickey's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,965 from 10,632. The improvement came about via a 40-14 victory over Newfound Regional last week.
