The Riverside Prep Silver Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
Academy for Academic Excellence will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Riverside Prep extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Silver Knights put the hurt on Victor Valley with a sharp 15-2 win. The Silver Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by nine runs or more this season.

Sadie Martinez looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
At the plate, Bree Garcia was incredible, firing off two home runs and seven RBI while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Liliana Cazares was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.
Meanwhile, Academy for Academic Excellence got the win against Big Bear on Thursday by a conclusive 11-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Haylee Berg was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Berg was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Hayden Gonzales was a standout: she went 2-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kayla Berg, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Academy for Academic Excellence now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for Riverside Prep, their record is now 7-8.
Riverside Prep might still be hurting after the 15-7 defeat they got from Academy for Academic Excellence in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Silver Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
