On Friday, Simla were out to avenge their 12-29 loss to Pikes Peak Christian from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Simla fell to Pikes Peak Christian 12-20. Simla's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
The defeat dropped Simla's record to 4-1. The victory bumped Pikes Peak Christian's record up to 5-1.
Simla will have some time to rest before their next contest, which is against Swink in two weeks at 7:00 PM. As for Pikes Peak Christian, they will face off against Custer County. Custer County took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Pikes Peak Christian's good fortune.
