If Tomball Memorial wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Alief Hastings, they should've done a better job of containing Deondra Jones. The Bears came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 80-71 on Saturday thanks in part to Jones, who went 10-for-13 from beyond the arc to rack up 31 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 47.2% three-point shooting accuracy.

Alief Hastings' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Tomball Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Alief Hastings will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Randle at 7:00 p.m. As for Tomball Memorial, they will head out to take on Cypress Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cypress Woods will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tomball Memorial surely won't give up without a fight.
