The Windsor Locks Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Granby Memorial Bears at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Windsor Locks knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Granby Memorial likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, everything went Windsor Locks' way against East Granby as Windsor Locks made off with a 62-39 victory. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-11.
Jack Grasso was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Hinckley, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Granby Memorial pushed their score all the way to 59 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Rockville by a score of 62-59.
Windsor Locks pushed their record up to 7-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Granby Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Everything went Windsor Locks' way against Granby Memorial in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as Windsor Locks made off with a 68-42 victory. Will Windsor Locks repeat their success, or does Granby Memorial have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
