Ridgeview is 0-10 against Highland since February of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Wolf Pack will host the Scots at 4:00 p.m. Ridgeview has given up an average of 11.5 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Ridgeview blew North out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday North got their revenge. The Wolf Pack fell just short of the Stars by a score of 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Wolf Pack have suffered since March 20th.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Highland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over Frontier on Friday.
Lilliana Garcia spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.
On the hitting side, Janaye Phillips was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Koko Macedo, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Highland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in nine consecutive games.
Highland's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Ridgeview, their loss dropped their record down to 5-17.
Ridgeview suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Highland in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Wolf Pack avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
