Tompkins took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They snuck past the Cypress Ranch Mustangs with a 32-27 win. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Blake Hamilton had a dynamite game, picking up 109 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 97 yards and one TD. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run. Jp Vaclavik was another key player, throwing for 165 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Tompkins will take on Bridgeland at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Cypress Ranch, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on New Caney at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
