Sophie Neal made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs.
In other batting news, Owen got a massive performance out of Payten Brockman, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI Brockman has posted since back in May of 2024. Kylie Gurecky was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
