The Heritage Patriots will face off against the Citrus Hill Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Citrus Hill took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Heritage, who comes in off a win.
Heritage is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Lakeside to the tune of 55-27 on Thursday. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Hayden Hill produced another solid effort rushing for 312 yards and four TDs while picking up 16.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 52 receiving yards. Those 312 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Elijah Sanchez was another key player, throwing for 145 yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Heritage was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Heritage's defense stepped up as well, laying out Robert Arellano eight times. The heavy lifting was done by Dane Ortiz and Austen Willison, who racked up five sacks between them.
Meanwhile, Citrus Hill took a blow against Canyon Springs on Friday, falling 50-21. The Hawks have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Although Citrus Hill took the loss, they still got scores from Ricky Green, Demerius Norman, and Cody Bowie.
Citrus Hill's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Heritage, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-6.
Heritage didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Citrus Hill in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 12-6 victory. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
