The Vandercook Lake Jayhawks are taking a road trip to  take on the North Adams-Jerome Rams  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Vandercook Lake, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized North Adams-Jerome's (thus far) undefeated season.
Vandercook Lake managed to slip by East Jackson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Jayhawks came up short against  the Trojans on Wednesday, falling  18-7. On the bright side, the seven- run  performance marked the Jayhawks' highest-scoring  game to date.
Meanwhile, North Adams-Jerome got the win against Tekonsha  on Thursday by a conclusive  17-7.
 Lydia Little was a standout: she got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and four  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maddie Horn, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  stolen bases,  and three  runs.
 North Adams-Jerome  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .606. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tekonsha only posted  an  OBP of  .400.
 Vandercook Lake's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for North Adams-Jerome, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
