Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Everglades Gators walked away with it. They breezed by the Mustangs on the road to the tune of 79-45 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Everglades as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.
Daunte Foster, Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Chris Payoutte, who scored 13 points.
Everglades' win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for McArthur, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.
Everglades is on the road again on Thursday and plays South Plantation at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. South Plantation presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Everglades in Florida (South Plantation is ranked 37th, while Everglades is ranked 253rd). McArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
